Regional Health Care Initiatives ~ OSP Participation
Listed below is a synopsis of the initiatives that OSP is currently involved in providing access to more details:
Greater Detroit Area Health Council - Save Lives Save Dollars
Save Lives Save Dollars is a community-wide initiative of the
Greater Detroit Area Health Council (GDAHC) to improve the quality of health care while lowering costs to consumers.
To achieve those goals, Save Lives Save Dollars partners are trying to align all health stakeholders in Southeast Michigan. OSP is an active participant in Save Lives Save Dollars.
GRIN - Great Lakes Research Into Practice Network
GRIN is a statewide primary care research network of office practices in family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and independent-practice nursing. Its goal is to assist primary care researchers to conduct studies in primary care settings. This, in turn, will help practitioners apply research findings that are reflective of the complexities of primary care practice.
GRIN is overseen by a board representing community physicians, academic departments, and patients. It is chaired by a member of the MAFP Foundation board, to which it reports.
